Cyrus Hettle is a PhD student in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization at Georgia Tech and a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He is an avid bridge player and plays and designs strategy boardgames. In addition to being a devoted recreational mathematician, he has research interests in discrete mathematics. He also enjoys music, particularly opera.
Robert Schneider is a PhD student in Mathematics at Emory University, and a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He is an avid player of Chinese Checkers and old-school video games. He is also a musician (leader of indie-pop band The Apples in stereo), composer and record producer, as well as inventor of a mind-controlled synthesizer and a “non-Pythagorean” musical scale based on logarithms.
